Not sure what to say?

To the Family of Loretta, Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Loretta. As a lifelong friend and classmate from our days growing up together in Fairview, I have many cherished memories of the times we shared. We attended school together and graduated with the Class of 1973. Our families were close throughout those years and remained so even as I went off to college. Loretta was truly a part of my extended family. She was a kind, thoughtful, and wonderful person-an...

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the family of Loretta Johnson. I had the pleasure of working with her in Roswell when she was a supervisor with Adult Probation and Parole. Prayers for her entire family. Respectfully, Larry H. Rogers Captain, NM State Police, (Ret.)

God bless you for the years that that the two of you had together. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. Ron & Cindy Miller

I am so sorry for your loss. I only met her at the 25th reunion but she was definately special.

My deepest condolences to the family of Loretta Chavez Johnson. I worked with Loretta for many years, during the New Mexico Youth Authority days as we transitioned to CYFD. She was the loveliest of women, a joy to work for and was truly a compassionate and inspirational leader. I am so genuinely sorry for your loss of such a beautiful human being. May her memory be a blessing.

I spent many weekends in Fairview with my Williams cousins at George and Edith's. We of course hung out with Loretta and her family. T.J. and Vangie were besties with my mom and dad. T.J. was my dad's 2nd cousin and they shared so much of their upbringing. Loretta was always a bright light and fit in with all the other cousins. I know that she was a most loving and giving woman. I am devastated by this loss and will always keep her and her family in my thoughts.

I grew up in the house next-door to the Chavez family. Loretta was always fun and willing to have more fun. We all had to be careful because her dad was captain of the State Police and a force to reckon with. But he was a softy with Loretta. We used to play on the road, throw things back-and-forth over the fence, catch wild kittens, create plays at magic shows and just have a daily blast. We would go with Loretta to hang out at the laundry where we would eat more candy, on the sneak, than our...
