I met Loretta somewhere between 1978 & 1980, when her office (w/ the Va Employt Cmsn) was next to the medical lab where I worked. She was very kind to me, & (when her ofc was shutting down/moving), she invited me to join her daughters & her for dinner at her home one evening. Many times through the years I've thought of Loretta, & always so fondly. Rest in eternal peace, Loretta.

I love you Aunt Lo. Not a day goes by where there isn't something that makes me remember and cherish everything you have taught me. It is because of you I know my purpose and passion in life. Continue to watch over us as we continue to keep you in our hearts ! Love, Tosha Boo aka "Dennis the menace" lol

I loved and admired Loretta, and I am so glad to have a piece of jewelry that she made - so many talents, but most of all, she radiated love, and she made the world more beautiful and more just. I will miss her.

Personally, Loretta was a good friend to me. She was also a strong supporter of the Hampton...
