Loretta M. Monterastelli, 96, of Venice, FL., formerly of Highland Park and Glenview, IL. passed away December 7, 2018
Loretta was a devout wife to the love of her life, Raymond, for 65 years before his passing in 2010. She had a smile and laugh that would light up the room bringing joy to everyone around her. She touched so many lives in all that she did including being an assistant Sacristan at Epiphany Cathedral and Confirmation sponsor to numerous people.
She was a loving mother to Gerald Monterastelli and Jessica Niecestro of Venice, FL. A devoted grandmother to Raymond (Brooke) Niecestro, Rebecca (Chris) Norton, Maria (Chris) Brinn, Joseph (Carli) Monterastelli, and Rachel (Tim) Cahanin. Adoring great- grandmother to John James and Connor Brinn, Stella Niecestro, Bradley Norton, Harper Monterastelli and Jackson Cahanin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, 140 E. Venice Avenue, Venice, FL.
Funeral mass, December 12 at 10 a.m. at Epiphany Cathedral, 350 Tampa Ave. West, Venice, FL.
A visitation and prayer service will be held on Saturday, December 15 at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Road, Highland Park, IL followed by entombment at All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines, IL.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Loretta’s memory to Epiphany Cathedral and Tidwell Hospice.
