Not sure what to say?

i was a childhood friend of Jean's. Her family lived two blocks from me and such a nice family. I ran over some pictures of us and decided to call her and tell her how special she was to me. Living in Florida since 1991 for work, I would have wished we kept in contact so much. I am 84almost, a stroke and macular regeneration , it was time to call past friends and let them know how I feel about them. Well I called and left a message on the last address and phone # I had and left a message....

Dear Rachel, Andrew, and the Sweazy Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jean's untimely death. It came as a shock and a surprise. I am sorry to say that I have not been in touch with the family in years but you all have been in my heart and prayers often. Remember when memories are of someone you have lost they become a treasure. I am sure that you have many memories to hold dear that will become your treasures.

What a beautiful personality and spirit put into one human being. God has decided He needed her with Him. He needed to have that wonderful smile and spirit with Him. What a happy day for all of Heaven! Just keep her always in your heart and she will never be far away.

Rachel (and family),

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother and especially so close to the day where you would all be celebrating how special she is to you. You have your mom's smile, Rachel. I'll be thinking about you and your family and keeping you in my prayers during this time.

To Rachel, Andy, and Family - I loved your Mom like she was my own. She was a precious lady and touched many lives. Hold fast to all your wonderful memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Dear Rachel,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. Having lost both my parents I do understand the emotions that you are going through. I will be keeping you and your family in my heart and my prayers.
Love Fern
