Not sure what to say?

What I will remember and cherish about Lori is her uplifting spirit and contagious laugh! You couldn't help but laugh with her and she brought sunshine and light into every space she occupied. I had the honor of working along side Lori at various summer gigs on Islesboro. I chuckle when I remember our breaks - looking out over the bay with a end-of-the-work-day drink in our hands. Lori, I know you're relaxing, healing and putting your feet up right now, but we will miss you here. We...

I have not seen Lori in a few years, I used to groom the dogs at BowMeow and had many conversations with her. My thoughts are with you all, she will be missed.

You will truly be missed here in earth but God needed you more. I will never forget your beautiful smile and contagious laugh along with your eloquent stride, strength and all around great friend to all in school. How blessed all the patients must have been to have you as their nurse, Till we meet again I pray for peace for your family and friends. Love

Lori and I shared many great times together playing hockey, lacrosse and doing gymnastics! It is difficult to imagine the pain she must have suffered with. Lori - I will always remember your sparkling personality and kind, generous ways! My prayers to her family and friends.

We became friends with Lori and Mike when we worked together in Tennessee (1988-1993). Lori loved to tease her friends and had a gentle laugh. When our son was born, she came to the hospital and snuck past the nurses with some pizza for us to munch on -- a treasured memory. Another time Lori got a ticket for running a stop sign in her yellow Subaru station wagon, but she got the traffic court judge to dismiss the whole thing -- I doubt he believed her explanation -- he could probably just see...

Lori, I am so sorry that I will not look out and see you kayaking to Castine this summer. Your grace and beauty will be missed. I hope you have found peace.

Mike, Katie, and Sean,
From the time Lori and i met at East Stroudsburg we became soul mate friends. Our love for the outdoors made us different because we preferred a walk in the woods over fancy vacations. My heart is aching because I always knew I could call on her even if we hadn't talked to for a while. It has been an everlasting friendship since 1973.

To Michael and family-I was truly saddened to hear of Lori's passing. Mum and Daddy were very fond of you and Lori. Stay strong. Nancy York Pendleton

To Mike, Sean and Katie; Mark and I are so deeply saddened by Lori's passing and are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. The hearty laugh and beautiful smile seen in the photo above belong to the Lori I knew during the Salisbury days- some cherished memories of Katie, Kristin, Lori and I are forever embedded in my heart.
Love, Kathy and Mark
