Not sure what to say?

I definitely always love any remembrance of dear Lori. I enjoy describing to others her artistic and musical talents as well as her many uplifting, joy-bringing qualities. She brought such delight and is missed. From Cole's Cousin Lisa

Oh dear...I was reminiscing about former members of the Cal Poly Chamber Orchestra which I conducted while Lori was a student at Cal Poly. I thought I'd try to try to get back in touch and am so sad to find this news of her passing. Lori was a wonderful member of the orchestra, a special person, and a gifted cellist. I remember her comment sadly that she wished her mom could see how much music she was making even at Cal Poly. Obviously, that was just the beginning of a life of music and...

Lori's beautiful hummingbird

I was so very sad to hear of Lori's passing. She was an incredibly talented musician and artist - a Renaissance woman, seemingly able to de everything - and so WELL! We met many years ago through her playing and my singing with Portland Baroque Orchestra and became friends then. I saw her at many art shows and have a few of her CD recordings. I also treasure the hummingbird she water colored that I bought at the outside art show in West Linn, but since that was the "trademark" picture on...

I was one of Lori's product suppliers and had many great conversations on the phone, just wonderful energy and enthusiasm. I will miss her.

Lori Presthus, Christmas 1984

Most of my friends had Lori as a preschool teacher, and still remember her fondly being playful and fun, and for her long black hair. The ones that I have told have been greatly saddened by the news. She touched so many lives, and was a wonderful person to have in the family. Here is a picture from Christmas 1984, which is how I will always remember her. Thank you all (especially the musicians) for the beautiful memorial service.

Dear friends and family of Lori Presthus. I only recently found out about Lori's passing and you have my deepest sympathy. I miss her so much. I have some music that we recorded together three years ago. We then fell out of contact with eachother. I wanted to make available to anyone interested the four tracks we recorded. However, i have to warn you parts of them are very emotional and difficult to deal with emotionally. Every recording we have of Lori is precious and i don't feel right...
