Not sure what to say?

Soon it will be one (1)yr. that Lori, my daughter has passed on to a better place where she will have no suffering. I miss my daughter and every day her name and spirit stays with me. I know that Lori hears me talking to her. No one will ever understand when a child is taken from you and a special part of your heart is taken. I thank everyone thoughout the year who helped me in the most difficult times missing my daughter. In the times Lori was away from home serving the Air Force Lori always...

Hi Pat and family, Lori was a special part of our family for many years. Always a joy, funny and light hearted. So sorry for your loss, what a great lady who touched many lives. Lets not forget one of the best shortstops/3rd base players in the world.

Its been almost 6 mos. since my daughter has gone. I miss her very much and still cry that I wish she was back in my arms. I am proud of her for serving the Air Force that she was so brave and not complaining of the pain she had. I will miss her this year during Holidays. She decorated all my windows last year, brought all my
x-mas stuff up for me. Lori always had good things to say to my friends about me. I miss her very much and know she is at peace. My daughter Gail calls me every...

To Lori's family
Pat wrote me at least once a week explaining all of the medical trials and tribuations that Lori survived. I was so happy to pray with her and to understand how difficult it is to see your daughter go though so much. She was a brave soldier and we should all be proud to have shared the planet with her. My prayers and sympathy to the whole family, but especially to Pat who needs all of your strength and love to make it through the storm.

Lori at the Women's Spring Retreat in Lemont, Il -- We had alot of fun and glad to be together.

Lori,
I prepared a little speech for you but did not get the opportunity to read it, so I will come to your grave and read it to you. I typed it up and sent it in your Guest Book but for some reason it didn't post. We had so much fun together at your Mom's. I will cherish that forever. Rest in Peace my Friend! S-C-H-R-O-E-D-E-R !!!!

To my daughter Gail, Tom, Luke & Jessica.
Thank you for being their for Lori. Lori loved you all so much. I as Lori's Mom will miss her and her weekend stays. Just knowing she was coming over made me happy and I could cook and go shopping with her. I hated when she had to go back to Gail's because she was so much company for me and had so much fun with her. Thanks Tom for helping my daughter Lori when she needed help with her car and other little things you did for her while my husband...

Lori, I wanted to say a few things about you in front of your family and freinds but did not get the oppotunity so I will now.
Lori could always bring out my "inner child" to play. We played with : FLOAM (little styrafoam balls in some kind of colored skwishy goop) that you had to squeeze to get soft, then Lori would use it for crafts. GROWING CAPSULES (they looked like colored pills) that when you put them in water, they into something made of sponge within hours. Then she really got...

My sister had the biggest heart. Even though she was sick herself-she still managed to worry about me and my family. I will miss her the most because she used to sneak up on me and scare me half to death. Now - when I hear a sound, I think she around the corner trying to scare me or Rabbit me. We would say few words to each other on a daily basis or just a waive and a smile. That meant eveything because I knew that she was alright for that day. Each day was a different story, you never knew...

I have said it only once before;

People so seldom say I love you,
And either it's too late,
Or love goes.
So when I tell you I love you,
It dosen't mean I know you'll never go
Only that I wish you didn't have to.

Gail said it best when she said Lori never had a mean bone in her body and always had a kind word for everyone. Thanks for being my second "momma"!
