Not sure what to say?

Your memory lives, and the celebration of your life, in all the work you did for the autistic and all the work we still have to do. Best wishes for your family,

Lori, Dear Friend Happy Birthday Angel! Its hard to believe that you are gone. We all miss you. You were a saint and god Bless You. Missing You and this weekend we plan on raising a glass to you. I will be with Moe & Col.

I only knew Lori for a short time, but found her to be a warm and caring person. I met her at Stony Brook Hospital where we were roommates during our hospital stay in early September. I was deeply shocked yesterday when I called to find out how she was doing and heard of her passing. May God bless her wonderful family and may she rest in peace.

My heart and sympathy goes out to all of Lori's relatives and friends especially to her children. I knew Lori as a dedicated activist who did whatever she could to help children with autism and their families. She was a caring and giving person who gave to others despite her own challenges.

I'm still in shock with the passing of Lori. She was a wonderful, kind person. I had the honor in working with her at American Express and she taught me a few things that I still use today. I remember how appreciative and happy she was when we threw her a baby shower for Michael Jr. May you rest in peace. We'll miss you!

As a sister I know full well how much my brother needs me and the toll caregiving exacts. But I have experienced the richest of rewards too. May Lori rest in peace and know you're not alone and it's all worth it.

I am so sorry to hear of the Shindlar family's loss. I knew Mike from Stony Brook and my prayers and thoughts go out to him and his kids. Thinking of you all.

Lori was an important part of our son Colin's life. She came each day into our home with her big beautiful smile ready to work and play. She was an inspiration as a dedicated teacher and mother. We are honored to have had her in our lives.
