Not sure what to say?

Lori was an incredible lawyer, mentor and friend. She took me under her wing at my summer internship at the ABA and was so passionate about elder law and policy. She was always such a joy to be around. I fondly remember all the fun things we did and cherished our time together -- from eating lunch at the farmer's market, to visits to the Smithsonian and art exhibits, to documentary viewings, to working together on work projects. She went out of her way to make me and others feel included, was...

I am saddened to learn of the loss of a great attorney, someone who did so much to help others.

I am so sorry to learn of Lori's passing and for the loss we in the elder advocacy community will feel. Like many others, I met Lori at a convening on elder abuse but quickly learned we had an unexpected connection through knitting! Our professional pursuits kept us connected since then, and it was reassuring to know I could reach out to her for guidance. My sincere condolences to her family and her colleagues.

I have reached out to Lori so many times for professional support. She was a friend from our first years as attorneys and I always looked forward to our conversations. She will be missed by many. She was a serious advocate and a fun friend. I am saddened to lose her. Her work has made our world a better place.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lori at a professional conference and then realized we had a mutual friend, a first cousin for Lori. We both were heavily invested in keeping older adults free from the ravages of financial exploitation. Lori was forever helpful and a wonderful advocate. Lori will be missed as a consummate professional and legal expert. Her life will be a blessing to many and to mine. Z'l

I had the pleasure of knowing Lori for many years through our journey through elder law. Lori was smart, fun, and a good work partner. She improved the lives of many. May Lori's memory be a blessing to us all

I am so sorry for the loss of this gifted advocate whose skill and convictions were exceeded only by the beauty of her personality.
We were certainly blessed by her life, her service and her friendship.
May hurt family and friends know comfort in these difficult days and May memories be a place to remember the joy of her life.

She leaves an amazing legacy as a champion for all of us...as we are all aging. From her days as a fellow Legal Services Developer thru The Center for Social Gerontology to the ABA, she was the brilliant and caring colleague and expert.

Lori was a consummate professional and a tireless worker to protect the rights of older Americans. The world is a better place because of her efforts.
