Not sure what to say?

Leo,
I just heard about Jean. I am heartbroken for you and your beautiful daughter. Although Jean and I lost touch I always thought of her as one of my best friends. She was the kindest most supportive person I've ever known. My prayers are with you and your family. God bless you

Dear Leo,
We're so sorry for the loss of your sweet wife Jean. We never met her but knew her through your mom and know how much they cared about her. Just know our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We lost mom last year and miss her terribly as I'm sure you do your parents also. Their friendship went way back and we will always have fond memories. With deepest sympathy.
