Lorie was a dear friend, and I feel so grateful to have gotten to know her more closely over the past few years. We shared many wonderful walks together at Bergamo and along the Spotted Turtle Trail, where she always had a fact or story to share about nature. Lorie was a beautiful and talented artist, speech pathologist, and colleague. I treasure the trillium necklace that she gifted me when I admired all the unique jewelry that she created. Her students will miss her amazing ability to help them talk and express themselves. The Beavercreek community lost a beautiful soul.

I am deeply sorry about Lorie's passing. I thought the world of her. I treasured her friendship and admired her intellect and talent. She was truly a wonderful person and will be missed by many.
