I have nearly every recording he ever made. He was so personal and a regular guy. He kept us all excited about our profession. God Bless his memory.

It seems that Lorin Maazel was destined for greatness, and a great conductor he was. When a family loses a husband and a father in death, an overwhelming feeling of grief can consume it.
