Lorin Glenn Terry, 68, of Hamburg, Michigan, a U.S. Air Force veteran, a quality inspector for Quanex in South Lyon, Michigan, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2001. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 14, 2001, 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m., at Bell-Borek Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Hamburg Chapel, 7425 M-36, Hamburg, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 15, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the funeral home. A celebration of life is scheduled for Monday, 1 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by Patricia DeWolf. Burial will be at Hamburg Cemetery. Memorial donations are appreciated to Arbor Hospice, 2366 Oak Valley Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. Arrangements entrusted to Bell-Borek Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Hamburg Chapel, Hamburg, Michigan.

I want to thank everyone who helped the family through this difficult time. The celebration of Unc's life was perfect for those of you who could not make it; I don't think we could have asked for a better way to say goodbye. Unc meant a lot to everyone in his own special way. As a child, having someone who listened to you and treated you as an adult was a special gift that he gave to his nieces and nephews. And in a time when many people dont have time to give, Unc always had time to hear...

I think the first time I remember seeing Glen was when you all lived in the white house up by the Hamburg Elementary school.

He always seemed so easy going but yet willing to talk to a younger cousin.

I remember being fascinated by the fact that Glen and Jack were both in Korea during the war and that Glen worked with the jet planes.

I will always remember him and treasure the conversations we had.
