I am so glad that I was able to see you one last time. It had been too many years. I'm happy that you were able to meet my daughter and husband. I will always remember going to your house and being treated with your world famous doughnuts. We love you, Great (great) Grandma. Thank you for the memories.

To a Grandmother who has always been there to support the family that she loved and cherished with all of her heart and soul. We well all miss you but still go on knowing that you will always be in a special place of are hearts and minds guiding us through what may come. We Love you Grandma.

My memories of those years at James Monroe would not be as pleasant without the house across the street. Spending the night and being encouraged to sing and to write. Lots of kids, noise, activities and mom somehow pulling it all together and making it seem effortless. I loved that "Italian-French toast", is their really such a thing?
