Lorna Van Linge

Last week I came across a Christmas Card of the Van Linge family. I pulled it out, planning to call her.
Many years ago Lorna and Chuck invited my husband, Dr. John Beale,Jr. to travel to Puerto Vallart and train the local GP in cataract surgery. The Van Linges loaned us their beach house so that the children and I could join John. It was a marvelous experience for all of us. The villagers were so grateful for the eye surgery that was done at no cost that they brought gifts to our table...

Lorna is a strong, enduring spirit in the lives of all of us fortunate enough to have touched hers. She will be forever loved & missed.
