Not sure what to say?

To Larry and the Kelly Family:
Growing up on Grange Avenue in the 50's meant that we were essentially neighbours with the Kellys who lived on Ross Avenue. In fact, we shared a party line with them for some time. My dad, George E. Glover, was a good friend with Lorne, and I went to school with Larry at St. George's Elementary. Lorne and his family were great people. Lorne was there for us when my dad died in 1972 and we were most appreciative. I extend my sympathy to all of you in...

To the Kelly Family & Paulette

Our Deepest Sympathy. Lorne was a wonderful friend to my Father and Mother, John and Connie Delahunty. They are together again. Our Prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Paulette & Kelly Family; Wishing you peace during this difficult time. May memories of the laughter and love that you shared with Lorne bring you peace now and always.

Dear Larry and the Kelly Family,
I just found out about your Dad's death and I am deeply saddended as I have know you and your Dad my whole life. Your Dad and I often bumped into one another at the restaurant in Manotick and he told stories about you and me somehow getting into trouble.(I'm sure he made them up..) I also met him a number of times at the Firefighters Retirees night on Preston street. He was a very kind and wonderful man and always took time out to say hello and talk. ...

Our sincere condolences to the family.
He was a kind and gracious man.

Dear Kelly Family,
Our sincere condolences on the passing of your dear Dad, Lorne. Our parents, Clay and Rita Kingsbury, knew Lorne well, from his connections to St. Basil's Parish and from "old Ottawa" days in the Ottawa Board of Trade, etc. Dad was a long-time member of St. Basil's Choir, so he saw Lorne on a pretty regular basis at Funeral liturgies, and they always shared a handshake, a wink and a quietly funny comment. When both of our parents, and our Aunt Betty passed away in 07...
