Lorraine Daum Abell

Family: Just other day I was looking at (filing away) some of the Southwestern jewelry I was lucky enough to have from Lorraine and thinking about what fun she was and how bright was her mind and attitude, striking out with a new enthusiasm for the West, the stones, the work -- signed and unsigned. She was our Millicent Rogers! Now that I am 78.5, I am missing special people and any interaction with them, more and more. She would speak with me about "Allie" (as I was on the Macculloch...

I so miss my nice friend with her good sense of humor, welcoming manner and beautiful things. I so admired and admire how she set out to learn lapidary skills and to understand stones.

I will have funny and fond memories of Lorraine always. May she dance and enjoy heaven as much as she did life of earth!

I miss Lorraine already. Spritely was her middle name.

Lorraine was our neighbor in Chatham and she was a lovely lady. I purchased many pieces of Native American jewelry from her. Our condolences to her family.
