Not sure what to say?

We will always remember Lorraine as one of the girls! She always made us laugh, and kept Mom and Dawn in line. (Or was it her getting them into trouble, we could never tell.) We mean no disrespect when we say we will always think of Lorraine when we pass a Hometown Buffet, Kohl's or Hooters. She was a special lady and we know she's up there in heaven keeping the angles smiling.
Love, Dawn & Paul
(Theresa Van Der Leest's daughter and son-in-law)

Dan & Diane & families,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your mom, mother-in-law, & grandma, Lorraine. She was a such a vibrant, cheerful woman and I'll always remember how sweet she was. My condolences to you in this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry for your loss......she will be greatly missed. I met her years ago delivering mail at her home and then later at the Diet Center and Dr. Chen's. We've enjoyed many phone calls and ice cream cones through the years and I really will miss her company.

Dearest Lorraine's Family,
My greatest sympathy to all of you during this difficult time. I met Lorraine through her last year of RCIA at St. James Church. She was my godmother.. and sponser. She helped me through the loss of my father and my long awaited spiritual homecoming. Her kindness shined as she reached out to me and others...instituting new friendships we will carry with us forever. She will be missed by many and always have a special place in my heart.

Sincerely,...

Dear Dan, Kris, Brittny, Bethany, Diane, Jenny & Donnie, Nikita, D.J., Meggers, Derek, Dakota, Jade, & Bootsey & all who were touched by Lorrainey.
I can never express to you how much she truly was a part of my life & my family's lives. I am sure that when any of those she loved gets to heaven, she will be standing there waiting to hug us. My...

Our heartfelt sympathy goes to your families and the many friends who were blessed by knowing Lorraine in this life’s journey. We became good friends during my residency in Belvidere, and remained in touch regularly during the intervening 30 plus years. After relocating to British Columbia, Lorraine along with great Illinois friends travelled cross-country for a truly memorable...
