I was so lucky that your parents chose to "adopt" me while I was a student at Auburn. That would have been 27 years ago. They truly were the closest thing to grandparents I had. Thank you for sharing them with me.

Lorraine and Cliff are missed. We were in a small group with them at Trinity Lutheran Church along with Ruth and Franklin Hoerlein and enjoyed dinner in each other's homes. To this day, whenever anyone at church makes the cookies with graham crackers, brown sugar, and pecans.... we all say "This was Lorraine's recipe." Our condolences go out to all the family members. Lorraine and Cliff were very special.

God's speed to heaven for a true lady and awesome individual who made a real difference across her lifetime. My love and prayers to Sherry, Jay, their families and all who knew and loved Lorraine.
