Lorraine Davis

Graveside services for Lorraine Davis, 92, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2009 at City of Lubbock Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. Lorraine passed away January 26, 2009. She was born July 4, 1916 to C.T. and Nancy Benson in Roby, Texas. She married R.W. Davis, Sr. July 21, 1934; he preceded her in death in 2000. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and a grandson, Jeremy Davis. Survivors include her children, Nancy Scott and husband Doyle of Snyder, Darla Copeland of Wolfforth, Bobby Davis and wife Rosalee of Matador, R.W. “Randy� Davis, Jr. of Matador, and Donna Edwards and husband James of Lubbock; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Lubbock Meals on Wheels, Interim Hospice, or Alzheimer’s Research.
