Age 82, died Friday, July 12, 2013 at The Oaks at Woodfield. Per Lorraine's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Lorraine was born in Painesdale, Michigan on July 22, 1930, the daughter of the late Walter and Olga Redlich. Lorraine married Reynold C. Geyer, Sr. on August 23, 1948 and he preceded her in death on November 26, 2012. She loved to crochet, enjoyed bowling and she and her husband were on leagues for many years. Lorraine was employed by various car dealerships in the Flint area. Surviving are four children, Reynold C. Jr. (Vicky) Geyer and their children, Christi, Brandi, Michael and Matthew, Gerald G. (Alice) Geyer and his daughter, Jennifer, Roger T. (Jill) Geyer and his daughter, Jenna, Patricia D. (Bill) Hayes and their daughter, Stephanie L. (Kirk) Johnson and their children, Sayge and Izabelle and baby on the way; two sisters, Marion Nettell-Yancer (Dick), Elizabeth A. Hiltunen; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors; special friend and neighbor, Carol Rogers. She was preceded in death by daughter, Teresa K. Geyer; two brothers, Carl and Walter Redlich. Lorraine was an amazing, giving woman who always had a warm, welcoming smile! I loved ever moment I spent with her, talking about daily life. She always made me smile and had a special way of making everyone around her feel like the most important person in the room. I feel blessed to have had her in my life!
