Not sure what to say?

My wife and I had the good fortune to meet Paul,Jr. and his Mom and Dad afer Katrina.We stayed across the street from them and Paul became a good friend.My wife would, on occasion, talk to his Mom while they were out walking.I told Paul it was unbelievable the way he cared for his parents.He just shrugged as if to say it was no big deal but it was.How many people would care for elderly parents as Paul did.
We often hear about Angels on Earth being called friends. Well, that's Paul,Jr.We...

To her beloved family;

Yesterday, I attended the funeral services for a great lady. I heard her referred to as Memaw, Mamaw, and Mimi. To me she was my Aunt Raine. My one and only aunt.

She was 13 years of age when I was born. By the time I was 4 she was my best friend. She took me to all the full length Disney movies. We had soda's at Woolworth's lunch counter and beautiful days at City park.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. Our deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

Dear Paul, Kathy, Glenn, Susie and Karen,

Your mother was truly a wonderful blessed woman. Not only was she my only aunt but the best God could ever give me.

Aunt 'Raine always made me feel welcome and loved in her home. Ben, my husband, felt the same warm feelings about her as we all did. I always loved to visit her and our families in Metairie on Thanksgiving. Also, our Christmas memories were special too and the best of all was getting together even it was for a short...

Kathy,
It's not that long since your Dad went back Home; I guess your Mom just couldn't stay behind too long. They are both together with our loving God now. I am sorry for your loss though; I know you miss them both.
Blessings,
Shirley
