Not sure what to say?

Dear Susan and family,
My thoughts were with you last week as I remembered some of the wonderful times I spent in Chicago over the last 20 years or so. Swimming at the point, anniversary at Andy's and just hanging out with good food and times at Lorraine's apartment. Your mother was a special, very warm and giving person.

Dear Susan,
I was saddened to read this morning about the passing of your mother. She was one of the great teachers I had at Bowen. I'll always fondly remember her. My sincere sympathies are with you and your family.

Dear Susan, Barbara, Deb and David,

Sorry to read of your mother's passing
Lorraine was a lovely woman and such a good neighbor. I have missed her since she moved to Montgomery Place.

I know how devoted and caring you were toward your mother. She was fortunate to have your love.

Lorraine will be missed by all of us.

Take good care, Jo Ann Sterling

Dear Susan,Barbara,Deb and David,
Your mother was an inseparable part of my childhood memories. She was just a bit scary to me when I was young, with her obvious intelligence and style of a serious teacher. On the other hand, she allowed you all to have comic books, forbidden in my home!
I last saw her a few years ago, when I spent some time with her in her apartment, updating her about my family. She was always curious and engaged with others- two wonderful qualities in my...

Dear Susan,

My deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your mother. I liked her so very much as a teacher and as a person.

You were very lucky to have your mom with you for so long. I know how hard it is to lose a mother but I also know that you will never truly lose her because there will always be a part of her inside of you and one of these days that will bring you some comfort. You will find her when you need her.

Sincerely,

Dear Susan,

Please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of your mom. Lorraine was a treasure! We always enjoyed being in her company. She was so proud of you and your siblings.

I spent many fun-filled lunch periods at good old Bowen with Lorraine, Paul, Bess, Alba and Rosemary to name a few. Lorraine had the best laugh.

She will always remain in our hearts. You were all lucky to have such a great mom.

Sincerely,
Angelo and Joan...

Dear Barbara, Debbie, Susan and David,
By the time my brother Rich called me to tell me he had seen your mom's obit in this morning's Sun Times, it was too late for me to make it to the service. I called CJF for the shiva info, but doubt I will be able to make it to Susan's as I am living in Northbrook and am somewhat disabled. Please know that despite my absence, you have my deepest sympathies and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Your mother had an unparalleled grace and...

To the Family of Lorraine Gzesh:
I would like to offer my condolences at this time. May your many precious memories and the comfort that God gives ease your grief during this difficult time. Psalm 37:11 tells us that "the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."

Dear Susan, David, Barbara and Debby,

It was an honor and a privilege to know your mother. She was one of the kindest and most gracious people I have ever known. Even at the worst of times she maintained her sense of humor and made us all feel comfortable in her presence. Our family will miss her.

Since I will not be able to join you as you say goodbye, please accept my heartfelt condolences to all of you and your families.
