Not sure what to say?

Our loving thoughts and prayers to all of you. Lorraine was always a lady on the go with a smile! We know of many happy times shared with friends. We will cherish sweet memories along with you!

All our love,
Family of Ruth Schueffner

I could write a book about the good times had with my dear friend, Lorraine. Being a neighbor since 1945, we played ball with the guys on the empty corner lot, went bean-picking at Bauman's Farm (she always picked faster and more beans than anyone else), went cherry picking up north, played together on a women's baseball team (she was pitcher, I played left field & Earl coached), wore each other's clothes, dated some of the same guys, and she was an attendant in my wedding. Dear Kathy, Kay, Wendy, Mark, & Mike, We will miss Aunt Lorraine for her gregarious personality and her kind spirit. It is unfortunate as we grow older, we don't see our family members as much as we would like to. In reflection of our lives, we realize just how precious and fragile life can be. Aunt Lorraine, until we meet again, rest in peace and love. You will always we remembered. You were the real deal!

Our sympathies to you, Kay, and your family. God Bless you as we remember your sweet mom.

Lorraine was an inspiration to me. She did what Jesus did for his disciples. Her life was filled washing peoples feet. A true servant. She made me laugh playing card games or Sequence. She loved life. She loved God. She loved us all. My only regret is I couldn't be there to say until we meet again. Thank you to all the Zastrow and Hermann family for sharing her with me and my family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My parents, Earl & Joann Jacobs always spoke about her and they cherished their friendship with her. Sandra Blindauer
