Christmas Memories of Lorraine 1. Lorraine made needlepoint ornaments to give Lucky friends as gifts.I still have these special ornaments on my Christmas tree. 2. Lorraine and I (often with Cathy Hester) would bake Christmas cookies together. I make her Peter Pan chocolate surprise, cherry crowns and butter thumbprint cookies each year.

Lorraine was like a big sister to me. We worked together at Sayreville Junior High School for nine years and commuted together for eight of those years. I have so many happy memories from my time with Lorraine. She was a wonderful friend with a happy outlook on life. She was a great baker and would always share some of her baked goods with the coffee group she organized. We would meet in her library in the morning for coffee, her homemade goodies and friendship.
