Lorraine Kelly, age 79 passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025. She was born March 17, 1945, to Hubert and Everlena McGee.


She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School class of 1963, where she cheered and dance. She was a die heart Panther, a queen, a fantastic cook, and a phenomenal seamstress. She can make you anything on the sewing machine. Lorraine had a heart of gold and a smile that will light up a room. She kept a house full of kids. She was known as mama Rea. She loved all the kids like her own. She had many roles in life and played them well. 


She preceded in death by her husband James Kelly, parents Hubert and Everlena McGee, sons Marvin Rea Sr., Micheal Kelly, Robert Kelly, sister Janie Parker, and grand baby Tamara Thomas, Charles Kelly Jr., Vivian Kelly and Shanae Kelly. 


Lorraine is survived by her loving kids Fredrick Rea (Greenville, Mississippi), Everlena (Patrick) Clayton (Gary, Indiana), Eleanor (Michael) McClarin (Indianapolis, Indiana), Lynniece Morris (Gary, Indiana), Charles (Patricia) Kelly (Indianapolis, Indiana), Sheryl McEntyre (Indianapolis, Indiana), and brother Hubert McGee Jr. (Gary, Indiana). The grand kids are Johna Quin Ja Vea' McDaniel, Madison McDaniel, Evin Clayton, Marvin Rea Jr., Nicholas Moore, KT, LaQuita, LaShawn, Eleanor, Tronnon, Erica, James, Anthony, Tewon, Jeremy, Jerome, Elaine, Michelle, Rodney, Nikisha, Demetria, Markeshia, Damon, Terrence, and Daza (great grand) Kelli Alexandria Hooten plus 16 more and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
