Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry for your family's loss. I worked with Lorraine at Cabrillo and Argonne Elementary Schools. A true Yankee spirit was she. Tough, thoughtful, no nonsense and always on top of what was going on with her students. Her passing is a loss for the SFUSD and for education as a whole.

To Martin and family,
Richard and I are so sorry to hear that your loving Lorraine passed away. We were so happy to see her at the reunion this summer in Maine. She looked so good. It was hard to believe she was battling this terrible disease. She was so strong and brave. I will always remember all the good times we had when she was living in Hartford with her mom and dad and sisters. My parents Maurice and Prescilla Tardiff and my sisters Linda and Phyllis...

I worked with Lorraine at Argonne Elementary in the 1980s. I am truly saddened and stunned to read of her death. Her strong and gentle approach to all was a guiding force for this young mother. My condolences to her family and all who knew her.

Dear Martin. You were a loyal and loving husband to the end. Lorraine was fortunate to have you by her side all those long days at the hospital. I have thought of you often and know your sorrow. Bless you.

For Martin and family--I was so sorry to read the news about Lorraine. I only met her a few times and was impressed by her strength and grace. I am sorry for your sadness.

Martin and family - my deepest sympathy on the loss of your beautiful Lorraine. Carol Coon - a former SFPL collegue.

We were deeply saddened by the news of Lorraine's death. She waged quite a fight against an aggressive cancer that finally overcame her. We have wonderful memories of Lorraine, especially of her presence at the Gagnon Family Reunion this past June and an earlier attendance at the Acadian Festival a few years before. She and her close ones are in our prayers. May she rest in peace.

I worked with Lorraine at Lilienthal, and she was a positive, intelligent and caring woman. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family, who must feel the absence of her gentle strength.
