Lorraine Marez Obituary
Lorraine Ayala Marez passed away into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, September 30, 2009. She was born on August 4, 1938 in Fresno, California. Lorraine was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother "Mia". Your family will miss you dearly and life will never be the same without you.
Special thanks to Jessie Gomez, her sister and best friend and her niece Sheila Lay who were always there for her and helped with her care through the end.
Thanks to Dr. Jack Wilkinson who gave us 32 more years of special moments.
She is survived by Albert Marez, her husband of 52 years; her daughter, Tammy Ann Patterson and her husband Timothy; grandson, Russell A. Fortier and his wife Diana and her daughter, Arika Mujica; and granddaughter, Lexi Nicole Patterson; and numerous family members.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church on Monday, October 5, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.

Dearest Albert, Tammy & Family,
Please know that you are in our deepest thoughts and prayers. What a wonderful woman Lorraine was...such a gentle spirit and loving heart. She was an inspiration on so many levels. The gentle love between Albert and Lorraine was one that most people strive to find their entire lives...how blessed you were to have eachother...what a beautiful loving couple...truly touching. Lorraine will be greatly missed and thought of often. May God bless you all during this time.

Dear Aunt Lorraine for many year's I have watched you suffer but not whisper a word to any about what you were really going through .God was the one giving you your strength .and my Uncle Albert who made sure you had everything you needed and more (I love you uncle Albert for being so good to our beautiful Aunt Lorraine) We will miss you Aunt Lorraine .May you rest in the Lord's arms and peace and his love .thank you Aunt Lorraine for all you have given to the Marez Family.I love you Much love your Niece Ruby Marez .
