Not sure what to say?

Greg,
I am so sorry for your loss. You and the family are in my prayers. May you know the peace of the Lord's work in time.
Love, Angie Fitch

My mother just told me Mrs. Payton died. As a little girl growing up in Montgomery Projects she was a staple in the community, She was a diamond in the rough, kind compassionate woman. I her daughter Charlotte was my childhood friend as well. Those were the best times of my life and has made me a better person just by knowing them.

My God hold you in the palm of his hands and know
that you were loved by many people.

To the Payton Family:
Ms. Payton was a good to me in all the years I have known her she helped me by saving my mail when I left Montgomery Gardens, I would see her at Patmark and was more than willing to give her a ride home with her bags even if I was not going that way and in a hurry I would stop and take her home. I am glad I was able to help her when it was needed she will always be remember as a kind woman, a stern one a woman with a golden heart I will never forget her.

I grew up in Montgomery Gardens. Miss Payton was definitely one of the people I remember well. She was known by everyone and we'll all miss her presence. I can only offer my thoughts and prayers to your family and I encourage you to remember that even during your time of grief and sorrow - God has a way of bringing you through tough times. Just trust and believe that.....this too shall pass!

To The Payton family the lost of Lorraine is a tragedy to us all. She was a remarkable woman. I met her when i drove the Montgomery & Westside Bus. she will be missed by many.
God Bless you all and may you carry her with you all the time.

Ms.Payton would get on me all the time for being in the hallways in MG up to no good. She got on my nerves but for some reason I was always happy to see her...lol.. and when I became an adult, and would run into her, her eyes would light up when she saw me and the feeling was mutual. It made me feel proud, like her eyes were saying Good Job. May you rest in peace, Ms. Payton..
