LORRAINE PEARCE

What a brilliant & bright light in my developing years! Lorraine was like an aunt to me and like a sister to my mother, Mary Means Huber. They were in the second graduating class of Henry Francis DuPont's Winterthur Museum, as fellows. Her White House career was an inspiration to me. Her influence and love will be everlasting. May her memory be a blessing to those who knew her and learned from her. ❤sending condolences to David, Hannah and the grandchildren who she was so proud of!

Mrs. Pearce was very generous to me with her time and her archives when I was a student at Winterthur writing a thesis on Mr. du Pont's role in the White House restoration. I remain very grateful to her, and send her family my sincere condolences.
