Not sure what to say?

To all the Purdys:

Just a note of appreciation for your dear mother, grandmother, etc. Tiny was always a great support. Her generous spirit and positive attitude was infectious. She will always be in my heart.

Dear Robin: My condolences on your mom's passing. How lucky for you all that she was with you for such a long time. Your mom was such a sweetheart, always had a smile on her face. I will never ever forget how she was the first person ringing our doorbell the night Steve was killed. She was a great comfort to all of us. I miss seeing you and think about you and your mom all the time when I drive or ride my bike past the house.

To all the Purdys--So Sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a dear friend of my Mom's and I'm sure she single-handedly is responsible for the success of Christ the King and Mount Carmel. My brother, Bill, who passed away just a few weeks before her, was so fond of her.

I am also very lucky to have had the mentoring and guidance of the two most beautiful women, Mimi and Tiny, grace my life. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. I...

At my mom's funernal -- she said to me that she doesn't want to be sick - she wants to go fast (the hardest for those who are left) but a wonderful way for her. She went out in style -- even got her hair done to meet all her friends!! I will miss her - we will all miss her. What a beautiful woman and wonderful heart -she always...
