As I wonder how to say goodbye to Lorrie, I am reminded of all the love and care she had for family, friends and her students. Upon meeting her for the first time , I immediately felt like a lifelong friend. She loved her family and was dedicated to them. Always the partner for Dave, attentive Mother to Rachae & Chace, always going the extra mile to help them when she could. Yes, and the perfect Grandma to Holly & Avi. Thoughts of comfort to all of Lorrie's family. It was my privilege to know her while working in the Special Education unit. Lorrie showed an amazing commitment to ALL of her students and for ALL the right reasons. Her pure of heart sincerity was so inspiring. It is of little surprise that even in her passing, she found yet another way to help the kids. "Hats Off".... you will be missed. ♡
