Not sure what to say?

To Lorrie's Family,

We only met Lorrie a couple of months ago when a friend asked if we'd like to play with the church softball team. We knew her as "Coach" and she was a good one. No matter what, she was there keeping us all organized. She always supported us and never gave up or complained even though at times we looked like the Bad News Bears out there. To hear her story from others, she is quite an inspiration to all.We are very fortunate to have had the chance to know Lorrie...

May God grant peace to Lorrie and to her family: she was a courageous woman and an inspiration and source of strength to me during my breast cancer treatment. She will be missed by many, until we see her again.

Dear family
We remember Lorrie as a very loving niece. Our sympathy to all.

Kim and Shawn:

Condolences to you both. Your mother was a strong and wonderful woman who truly cared about you both, as well as about anyone she called a friend. She will be missed.

It is with sadness that I learned about Lorrie's death. I knew her in high school and have been kept aware of her life to some degree through a mutual friend. I remember her as a gentle person with a smile on her face. I pray God will comfort you during this time.

All my memories of Lorraine are from high school, and she was unforgettable--a unique and wonderful person. I'm sorry to see that she is gone now. May you find peace in the Lord.

To the family,
I really enjoyed working with Lorrie for the few years that I did at the Composing Room. She was a wonderfull human being.
My heart goes out to you all.

Dear Shawn, Kim, Nelson,Ruth,Marilyn and Lauren

I went to Calvin College with Lorrie in the '70s and remember her as a person who cared enough about justice to do something. I participated in the dorm walk-out that she planned, in which women protested the fact that they had to be back in the dorms by 10 on weeknights and 12 on weekends, when the men had no hours at all. That walk-out led to a dropping of hours for women. In later years, my conversations at Calvin with her led...
