Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Waters supported & cared for the Falcon band, when not many admistrators or students would. She would watch us practice & chat with us students..She made a point to walk into our bandroom & talked to us as a group. Something no one other than our director did. She told us how much she appreciated our dedication & hard work. It was a talk many of us will never forget. She would visit us at lunch too.... She was very kind & we respected her immensely. God bless you Mrs. Waters. Thanks for...

Time has past and I am now 84. One advantage of aging is you forget many things but the truly significant ones remain.

Memories of Mrs. Waters, the teacher and person, and her influence remain crystal clear. I will always be thankful for them in my life.
Lynne, I hope you are well.

It has been some years since I wrote on Ms. Waters memorial page. I have now retired after a career in teaching and educational administration. As a professor I often shared with my students majoring in education stories of Ms. Waters, her influence on me and her successes in education.
Ms. Waters continues to live on through her students who loved her and succeeded because she mentored us.
Lynne, take comfort in knowing this.

Ms. Waters was my homeroom teacher and teacher of social science subjects. She was my favorite teacher and my mentor. She encouraged me in my educational career and inspired my teaching style and administrative philosophy.

She came to my Oscar F. SMITH HIGH SCHOOL 50th reunion and greeted me by name when I arrived.

She was a role model, ever present, during my 50 year career in secondary and college education.

I am heart sick I did not know of her passing in time to...

I have many wonderful memories of the years I spent at Cox High School as Mrs. Waters secretary and office manager. We opened the new Frank W. Cox High School together and formed a great working relationship and lasting friendship. I will always remember Lottie as caring and compassionate with a wonderful sense of humor. Love you Lottie you were my favorite.

Lottie and I first met during a trip to the Soviet Union in the Spring of 1986. When I found out she was to be the new Principal at Independence Junior High School, I couldn't have been happier. The best Boss I ever had, bar none!
My condolences to the family. You have lost a Super Star!
R.I.P. Lottie!

Lottie was a gracious wonderful neighbor. She will be missed. She always had a beautiful yard with beautiful flowers and a kind word. Jack and Mary Jones
