Ms. Lottye "Mema" opened her heart and home to me and my children without even knowing who I was. I came to know and love her because of my aunt Barbara. She instilled in me and my kids the importance of an education and worked tirelessly to ensure that they passed each grade level more advanced than their classmates. She kept them active in the community with various clubs,sports, and activities. There was never a dull moment in the Leftridge household as there were sometimes up to 15 of us...
