Jimmy K., Lou Ann was a very special person. She was a bright, funny, caring and a good person. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Take care of yourself and remember all the good times you shared with her, as there were thousands of them throughout your many years together. Remember I am only a phone call away. Much love, your cousin Judy

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of a special leader. I had the pleasure of working with Lou Ann in West Palm Beach VA, as well as at Ann Arbor VA. Inspiration that I will remember from her are to 'think outside of the box' and don't settle for the first alternative presented to you if it is not the best for patient care; empower others to make a positive impact in the workplace; and advocate for changes that will improve patient care. She will be deeply missed.

Dear Mr. Atkins, I was Lou Ann's dentist. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. The world has lost a special lady. I remember that she was very excited about going to Las Vegas with you, a while back. My staff joins me in extending our sympathy.

On behalf of all of the employees of the Indianapolis VA Medical Center, let me express our deepest condolences on the loss of Lou Ann.
