Louis E. Amberg Jr. was a fine upstanding member of his beloved community. It was a pleasure and honor to express these thoughts to his son Louis III recently, and also to express our condolences for the recent loss of his dear mother Mary Kay.

We will always remember your father/brother with a big smile on his face when we finally arrived at the local pub in Amberg, Germany. He was so pleased to be able to connect with some history of his family. What a great gentleman he was.

Uncle Lou was my favorite uncle. He was always watching out for others. Especially, Janni Leigh, when she had to catch the school bus in front of the house on Isabel. He made sure she was out of the rain or snow by having her come into the garage or the house until the bus came. That is a favorite memory of mine. It was nice to know someone else was watching over Janni, too. He will be missed!

I have been very blessed to know the entire Amberg family and witnessed first hand the strength, wisdom, and knowledge passed on to them by Louis. He will be greatly missed but his love for family will live on forever.
