Not sure what to say?

I am saddened that I didn't get to meet him as a man. As an Arbeene and I think all Arbeene's would say the same, I am very proud to have this name. Know that we may not all have sons but as Arbeene's we will not let our name die. Through this we will live forever. I love you all.

To all the Arbeene family, I met Lou at Dr.T's dental office- he was such a pleasure to talk too. Such a kind, funny and pleasant man. I was upset to hear of his many hospital stays in the last year years. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends . May he rest in Peace.

Long gone are the days of hanging out by the pool all summer with Auntie Barb and Uncle Louie but the memories will never be forgotten. We will miss you.

Mr. Arbeene was both a classmate and faculty partner with my, late, mother Emilie Andrews Rose. She had many wonderful stories about Louie that I will never forget.

My sympathies to the entire family!

Mr.Arbeene was my favorite teacher in the 8th grade, way back in 1970, he looked just like my father who had passed when i was 10, so there was a connection, he invited the whole class to go to his house and have a pool party,
my blessings to his family, We have lost a great man.

Mr. Arbeene,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army in Europe during WW II-especially during the Battle of The Bulge which was the largest land battle ever fought by the U.S. Army in and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

On to a better place. We will miss you.

Uncle Lou holding the newest Arbeene. Andrew

My uncle Lou will always be remembered by a great many people. His family, students, and colleagues will miss his energy and willingness to share his amazing knowledge. He taught me so many things, from swimming and diving to riding a bike. He continued to share himself by teaching my own children these things. Always the teacher, he said that I would enjoy this profession. I believed him and completed a 34 year teaching career. I owe him alot. May he rest with God and find peace.

My great Uncle Louis was the last of the living children of my great grandmother and was my late grandfathers brother, whom he loved very much. I am saddend to think of this original "clan" being gone from this world, but am comforted by the fact that they were all saved christian men, that will be with God forever. My Uncle Lou, as I called him, was always a witty and articulate man that seemed much younger in thought and spirit that he actualy was. As with most Arbeene men of that "clan"...
