Not sure what to say?

This was my uncle. And even though I only met him twice, I remember him as a very warm and caring person. I still remember meeting him back in 1967 during Christmas. He had a small movie recorder, and recorded our antics.... What a loss.....

I still remember the night my uncle Louie took me to my first Boston Celtics game at the old Boston Garden when I was just a little guy. They played the St. Louis Hawks! I still have this clear picture in my mind of that night, where we sat up in the rafters, the rowdiness of the crowd, throwing stuff at the Hawks as they came onto the court, and the heat in the Garden as the game progressed. But most of all I remember my uncle Louis explaining aspects of the game to me and cheering...

Louie and my dad (Bob Waitt) shared such a long life-time of shared memories, jokes, teasing!...and family times. They loved their high-school sports....Louie had such a nice quiet way about him and wonderful smile. My sympathy to the family and happy memories to live in your hearts forever. Warmly, Debbie

My uncle Louie was a wonderful person inside and outside. I have a lot of great memories. May his memory be eternal. Love Paul Perakis

I was lucky enough to grow up across the street from the Bakis family. I have the best memories of sleepovers, playing in the pool in the backyard, playing Pong when they got an Atari, their dogs Muffin and Rocky, etc . . . Such a great family. Doris and Lou were such kind, welcoming people. My condolences to the whole family.

Thank you for your service to our country, and our community Sir. Job well done and it´s now time to Rest In Peace. May God Bless You and your family. ~Salute~ VFW Post 1012, Medford, MA
