Not sure what to say?

What a kind, generous, gentle, thoughtful person Lou was. I was privileged to know him in his last seven or so years, and I am grateful for that. He was a true VIP to the arts in Marin, and a joy to be around.

All of us at the University of San Francisco are blessed to have known Lou. We are grateful for his enthusiasm, loyalty and support to his alma mater over the years. He will be missed.

Thank you Lou Bartolini for your many gifts to the Marin Symphony. Your leadership, support and generosity will live on in the fine music of our Marin Symphony orchestra.

For many years, Lou directed the annual Christmas Play at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Mill Valley. It was a favorite for those of us who participated and the many many who attended. Thank you Lou for your huge heart and for giving all that you did to support the arts!

I was very sad to learn of the passing of Lou Bartolini. While I didn't know him real well, I did know and admire him for his genuine interest in, and support for the arts. As well as for his always gentlemanly manner. He will deeply and surely be missed. Lido Cantarutti, friend
