Sincere sympathy from all of us at Oneonta Nursing and Rehabilitation. It has been our privilege to have Lou with us and to provide his care. He celebrated his birthday just before his final illness and enjoyed it so much. He was a proud wonderful man and we thank family and Ronni for the opportunity to meet his needs and to know him. It was an honor to have known Louis. He was the Executive Officer of the 978th Ordinance Company (Army Reserve) in Oneonta during the late 1950s which I was a member. He was always "LT." to me. I got to know him there. I knew him as an officer, a gentleman, easy to work with and to know. His demure and bearing commanded respect. He was an enlisted man's officer, always looking out for members of our company. He has never left my memory all these years. My sympathies are with his family and...

Good bye dear friend Lou, I have known you for over 80yrs. Your mom took care of me when I was a little boy and you always looked out for me. A pleasant guy 80 yrs ago and still pleasant at your 96th birthday last week. Sam and sisters also helped me but you and your mom "Zia" were outstanding.
