Fr. Bill and the Blanda family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. As a former teacher of Fr. Bill, I knew Lou very well. Lou loved St. Rosalie School very much and always strived for the highest academic standards as school board president. We celebrated with him when we were recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, under the excellent administration of Sr. Jeanne McLoughlin, O.P. She had tremendous respect for Lou and always spoke so...

When I was a District Executive with the New Orleans Boy Scouts of America in the mid-sixties, I met Lou when he a Counselor for the boys. Later we were brought together in the Joe Yenni administration and saw his great wisdom with the public he served. The pleasure we had while visiting Lou and lovely wife, Doris, during the past 10 years or so will stay with me always. I was present with Lou and family in one of the proudest moments of his life when son Father Bob was ordained in...

We want to give our condolences to his family. We had the pleasure to get to know Mr. Blanda, when his son was our pastor in Kaplan, La. Our prayers are with you and your family.

I would like to send my sincere condolences to the family of Coach Blanda. I had the most pleasurable visits with him and Mrs. Blanda. They were very gracious people.

I want to give my condolences to his family. I had the pleasure of knowing Mr.Blanda when he was the coach at my High School from 1951 to 1955. He was a wonderful man and coach. May god Bless you and keep you.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the Blanda family. I had the good fortune of working with Lou under the late Joseph Yenni. Lou was always respectful of all people and a true public servant. As an aide to the Parish President he assisted many people. He will truly be missed.
