I met Lou several times in person when we lived in Los Alamos in the 1980's and many, many times in on-the-air ham radio conversations. A true gentleman and Christian to me. I am sorry to have missed the memorial service.
Best wishes to the family and may you always enjoy the blessings of being his loved ones.

I have wonderful memories of Mr. Burkhardt when I was a kid growing up in Los Alamos. It's been many years since we got together but I'll miss you. George
