Not sure what to say?

The world has become a lesser place with the passing of Mr. Cappelli, who was my high school principal while I attended triton High. He always had a smile on his face when greeting his students, was fair and honest, put the students first, and disciplined firmly but kindly. Working in administration at a school district for many years, I had the opportunity to see first hand how principals govern their schools....some did it well, many others not so much. Mr. Cappelli was the gold...

Louis, rest in the peace of our Lord. You are remembered with great love and respect by all the lives you have touched during your very productive life. GOd bless and keep you

Patty, Lou, & Lynn Ann,
We are sorrowed at Lou's passing. He was a wonderful role model. If you look up Italian Family in the dictionary, there would be a picture of your family. What a wonderful family to be a part of. May the children continue to remember what their grandfather stood for and his beloved heritage. They are such wonderful young people. Lou will be greatly missed.

We were sadden to hear of Mr. Cappelli's passing. My God surround you with His love and understanding. We are sorry for your loss. The McCoy's--Niccy, Wesley, Jim and family(Neighbors on Woodlawn Terrace, Colls)

So sorry to hear about this. He was a great person

Dear Lou,
My condolences to you and your family on the passing of your father. There's no shortage of kind words that everyone has for your Dad; and may they put a smile on your face every time you think of him.

To the family of Mr. Cappelli, my sincerest prayers are with you. I was a '73 graduate of Triton High School. My mother Mrs. Colavito and Mr. Cappelli were good friends during my 4-years at Triton. We shared with him our passion for our Italian heritage. My mom had him over for dinner a few times, that's the kind of guy he was. I have fond memories of him. He always had his 'eye' on me, making sure I stayed out of trouble. This world has lost a good man, but heaven has gained a 'great'...

Sorry for your loss. Your father was a great principal and man.

There are no set of words better than the ones listed below to describe a man that was kind, considerate, just a phone call away and willing to help if and when he could. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Cappelli some years ago and I always remembered that "twinkle" he had in his eyes. He made everyone feel comfortable, important and welcomed. The world has been blessed for having this man as a friend and his family was so lucky to have him. Rest in peace, Mr. Cappelli and on angels wings...
