Louis Castrovinci passed away on January 5, 2021. He was born to Philip Castrovinci and Lena Franconeri in Brooklyn, NY on August 30, 1939. He worked for over 40 years in the printing industry. He enjoyed collecting coins, working in his backyard and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather whose greatest joy came from being surrounded by his family.
Louis is survived by his loving wife Marie of Mt. Bethel, PA; daughters Lenora Rose of Central Valley, NY and Dorene Tavares (Jim) of Easton, PA; son, Ronald Castrovinci of Mt. Bethel, PA; brother Philip Castrovinci of Scottsdale, AZ; sister Joanne Reiprich of Lake Ariel, PA; grandchildren Danielle Tavares, Alyssa Rose and James Tavares; and great-granddaughter Raegan Tavares, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Louis is predeceased by his parents, Philip and Lena; brothers Ronald and Lawrence Castrovinci, and grandson Matthew Rose.
There will be viewing hours, Sunday, January 10, 2021, beginning at 2 PM until 4 PM and 6 PM until 8 PM at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl, PA. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions and maximum of 10 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time with mask and social distancing requirements. Due to covid 19 gathering restriction of no more than 40 people in the church, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Bangor, PA. Graveside services will be 1 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY, those attending should meet at the office.
