I am so grateful God gave me the gift of spending your last month with you in the hospital. Each day you listened to my silly jokes, my endless prayers, and the Bible passages and stories I shared. Sometimes you would just smile or chuckle as if to say, "Here she goes again." Those little moments are treasures in my heart. I am thankful beyond words that I was able to say "I love you" and "goodbye". Some of my favorite memories are the playful ones-like when my children painted your nails...
