Just heard the sad news of Mr. DiGiaimo's passing. I did not know him personally, but he did give me my very first professional gig in 1978 as Peter Falk's standin/photo double on Bill Friedkin's 'The Brinks Job'. I was only 18 yrs old with zero film experience, yet he offered me the wonderful opportunity of over 3 months' work on a big budget feature (and the invaluable education it provided me).
