How can nobody have anything to say about this guy? He was one of the finest men I ever knew, I guess many of the people who would have appreciated him have passed on! He never had a bad word to say about anybody, he was extremely accomplished without "seeking center stage", he was totally bright (and extremely funny!), and had more good friends than anybody: I spent much time in the company of Lou Dortch, Tom Stipes, Jim McLogan, Roger Sharp, and (before that) Vern Parsell.
