He had the voice of a radio announcer, and loved to sing. I can still see and hear him belting out a tune while playing the piano at the bottom of the stairs in your basement. And while he had that announcer type voice, I remember him being very soft-spoken. I don´t recall him ever raising his voice when both your mom and dad found our paper cut out surfer dude scotch taped to the very large and beautiful picture of the wave in your living room.
