We actually had the honor of seeing him play the drums during music hour one morning there. I'll never forget the passion and enthusiasm Lou showed while participating in that event. Once he shared a heart-warming story of what being a father meant to him. Wisdom, a listening ear and the gift of captivating someone's...

Irene and Family, My deepest sympathy to all of you. I'll always remember his warm smile and pleasant personality, a great guy. Sincerely, Elda (Domingos) Cataldo

I knew Louie only because his room was across the hall from my father's at the Soldiers' Home. My husband and I actually had our Christmas dinner with him this year, at the table he shared with my father and Peter. His smile was a beacon of sunshine whenever I visited the Soldiers' Home and I miss him. He was such a lovely man.

Nina and Lila,
Louie was a great guy . He spent time with the our family , the Loughrey' s , at family functions . Our father Joe was very tight with Louie personally and in business working together for many years . He and all of us had the highest respect for your dad. Deepest condolences from the Loughrey family.

I was sorry to hear today about Louie's passing. A friend and I have sung and played guitar together at the Soldiers' Home numerous times, and it was always nice to see Louie there since he was friendly and enthusiastic. My condolences to his family and friends...
